Classification Pilot Overview

This proposal is to provide services for a proof of concept pilot using BCT aClass, implemented within your Teamcenter Engineering test environment. The scope of this project will include basic configuration of aClass with Geolus 3D Shape Search, classification of up to 10 selected part families, training on the basic use of aClass from the user perspective and how to administrate the classification of parts and the class structure. BCT will provide the installation of the aClass software in your environment. The goal of this pilot is to identify the potential benefits of implementing aClass in your company. Some examples of potential can be found in the data sheet linked below. Potential benefits based on your processes and workflows will be identified as part of the pilot.

The Pilot Will Pay Off

The classification pilot with BCT aClass delivers short term savings that exceed the costs of the pilot. The summary report included in the classification pilot identifies the duplicate parts in your environment. For example, taking 10,000 parts and assuming 1% of them are duplicates, with a per part cost of $500, the pilot alone can help your company save a total of $50,000.
