METUS® Plugin for Teamcenter
Complexity made transparent
At the beginning of the development or optimization of products there are pivotal questions:
- Which requirements and functionalities should the product or platform satisfy?
- What variety should it cover?
- What components or modules should it consist of?
- What are the targetted costs?
- What should be covered internally and what with suppliers?
- What should be standardized or reused?
In this phase 80% of the costs are defined but:
- For this early phase today there are almost no tools available!
- The information is mostly scattered in different EXCEL spreadsheets, POWERPOINT presentations or hand written notes.
- A continuous method is missing
METUS lays the foundation for cost savings over the complete value-added chain.
E.g.: rail vehicles, household appliences, automation
METUS supports the development of modular product architectures according to customer and market requirements and allows the consolidation of different perspectives. Visualization and optimization throughout the entire process in one software.
